i think it was a backfire or something. I remember reading about it on the forum where the guys posted it first. Either head gasket going or backfire.

head gasket let go on the 3rd run. They did that just to promote the shop. It was just for fun.

what jets did you work? what did you do?
i worked the B-1 U-2 and the RC-135
i am hydro for now

Nice! You've worked on some aircraft I would have loved to got to work on, if I had been active duty Air Force.
I was active duty as a Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) in the Navy working on the Laser, Infrared, INS and bombing computer. After that I joined the Iowa Army guard and OJT'd into the Ground Radio Repair field (29E). Then I got out pf there and joined the Iowa Air Antional Guard for 8 years working in Precision measurment lab (PMEL) and as a 3C0 which is Network Admin and comuter repair. I've been out for about 4 years now, but looking to go in as a Warrant Officer when I get my associates in business that I'm going to school for full time now.
Oh yeah I worked on the A6-E Intruder before it was decommisioned at teh time it was the onlu aircraft in it's size that could carry the largest bombing payload.
