Looking for a working 91+ DSM ISC.

hit the junkyards, get yourself a few, measure their coils, and mix and match the parts till you have one good one...other wise, its gonna cost ya.


unless one of our dsm og's has one theyd let go of.

i guess im unsure of what an ISC is....

idle speed control motor. when they go bad you get idle surge. typically get rolling idle surge and eventually constant idle surge. little motor under your TB.

I've already hit every local junkyard around here and then some. Junkyards used to be full of DSM crap, now it's pretty slim picken's.

ha, whats funny is the add below this thread has the part listed. sweet.

$160 or so from a parts store if you didnt already check. I can have someone check my parts bin, but i think i gave everything away already.

Found a working one for $15. Just installed it and took the car for a good long drive, problem solved.

While I've got a few DSMer's in here anyone have an extra 1g 02 sensor?

possible. need a new knock sensor too? i know i have that still. or a whole motor? haha

Replaced the Knock sensor not too long ago, thanks though. Let me know if you find an 02 sensor, pm me what you want for it.
