Other engines for an S-10

I have a thread out right now to buy a 2.8 v6 for an 85 S-10. I haven't really gotten any responses.

I know I could put in a 4.3 v6 or a sbc. Are either of those options very difficult to complete? I think my Dad has both of those engines, but I don't really want to spend too much on extra parts fro the swap.


Any pointers?

a sbc swap is pretty much the norm anymore. The swap is easy and pretty straight forward, kits everywhere to do this.

A simple search of the net should yeild several results for what you want to know

Thanks man. I would have searched but I figured that someone here would just have a site memorized for it or something.

I found the S-10 forums. It's a bit hard to navigate, but I think I found it.
