ADVANCED AUTO SHOWS START THIS THURSDAY

I was playing poker with Ashley's family this saturday and her uncle is an active member of the cedar valley hot rods and he informed me that they will be out at advanced auto this upcoming thursday april 19th.

I will be out there for sure. Anyone else got plans to be there? Usually starts up around 6pm and goes until dark. Be out there if you wanna hang out!

Wasn't there talks of having the car meeting at Sonic? I thought I remembered reading something about that in the past here.... I dunno. Those drive-in diner's have traditionally been the car gathering spots for over 50 years across the country.

Probably me yakking about it along with des moines ppl. I went on a trip in mo. with the 03 when I first got it. I hit every smaller town with a sonic, it was interesting as at the time it was a unknown so few ppl knew about them. This sonic here is pretty small though. Yea go to a unknown town hit up a sonic. N. st. Louis there is a sonic and chuck a burger close together. Chuck a burger has a website with a schedule one reason I was disappointed wfc will be at indy. We had a good setup at bbops burns me everytime I think about it.

Yeah, plus I think they want to keep it on this side of town because it seems to be where most people live, plus the other side of town is busy as heck. I hate driving over there for anything. lol

Sorry I'm workin as usual, I either have to use vac., flex my time or call in for those thurs. We plan on a vac. sometime soon too. That after the wedding tradition thing. So that's out for the traditional and I have to determine a additional "romantic" place. The show was pretty lame tonight. There were some good cars there but it was only one group (Cedar Valley Hot Rods I believe) and it was a bit chilly so there weren't a ton of people out.

Give it a few weeks, we'll have a lot more people out there. Tonight was just the first night, and there are 5 or more car clubs there everyday and today there was just one.

Hopefully I will have ProRauder finished to bring down next Thursday (4/26) if the weather is nice. I have to get those new nitrous plates installed and plumbed. Then off to the DYNO tuner Saturday to dial it in.

I was told it was due to trash being left all over the lot and people doing burnouts in the lot.

The lady that owned the bbops parking lot also owned gander mountain and hy vee (or econo foods whichever it is) parking lot and I thought it had to do with the other merchants complaining.

Not necessarily. As of today, Saturday looks to be 72 degrees and sunny. It would be an amazing day to bring the car out to advanced. I still don't know how many people will be out there since it was nasty like this all week and I don't know who all was out last saturday (cuz I work saturday nights) but there should be people out on saturday.
