Right now I'm sitting 24.5" fender to ground in the front and 25 in the back. 25.5 all around is the manufactures specs (H&R) to keep suspension dynamics in acceptable positions. By going anylower I'm degrading handling characteristics

yeah and it looks good. but shouldnt come in saying "you think your low" theirs some low rider guys on here, and boxmaking man enjoys a slammed ride as well.

i like your ride height, pretty much what i want all my cars sitting at, tire level with fender.

what the fuck does it matter how it handles?

its not a race car.

or come to the understanding that its not low.

#1... Why put on 1200 dollar coilovers if you're just going to destroy your handling? If I wanted low I would have gone low class spring cutting...No thanks. I like to drive my car the way it was meant to be driven. It sees autox a few times a year. As mentioned before the suspension dynamics get totally ruined when I go lower than this. I'm already running -1.7 degree camber in the front. That's just about right for what I use it for. I raise the car up a bit in the winter so that I have more ground clearance.

#2... not really, i don't have the time to "race" on a circuit. I do go to track days on occasion and as said before I go to auto X every once and awhile. If I wanted a full out race car I would have bought an Evo. It may come to that once I get out of college. Hell for all I know I may turn this thing into a race car once out of college and depending on bank role put it into a speed world challenge (not likely because I wouldn't have the experience/sponsorship) but it's really not the best platform to do that on.

#3 I understand that it's not "low". However, the car is not a low rider and I never said it was meant to be a low rider. All i said was, think your car is low???? i kicked it down a notch meaning to say I lowered the suspension. Don't take it personally.

If you want to get into a power (nuts) discussion let me know.

I can get an aluminum skid plate to replace my plastic one but i don't want to risk it. My oil cooler sits just as low as my oil pan and my oil level sensor also sits at the low point of my oil pan...if I had a car that was cheap to fix i'd probably do it just for looks and raise it up on track days

I was gonna have a smart ass comment there about the "Vag" hurting but to be honest, I'd give you an AWD launch with about 420 whp behind it and you'd more than likely shit your pants regardless of what gender you are....end of story

i really doubt it......i've been through a lot car wise. it takes a lot to make me shit my pants. for example last night i was bouncing along sideways at around 50mph through 2ft deep ruts with random wholes all over on a level B road clear out in bum fuck Iowa. thats the only time i have been scared recently while riding with some one.
