FYI for anyone who might be in the housing market, the condo right across from mine (same building) is up for sale for about $96,950. If you get a 30-year mortgage on this you'll pay a little under $700/month for the mortgage.
Remember, of that $700, what doesn't go to principle is tax-deductable! And if you've ever been in my neighborhood before you would definitely like the kinds of people that live here. Mostly old people, not a bunch of punk 18-19-20 year olds like in the apartments. It's a nice quiet place.
Plus the condo is actually a little bit nicer than mine!
