That's about right. And the funny thing about that is that our forums page ( crunderground.com/index.php ) is a PR4 so it would be a little bit more than that says.

Impressive though, last time I checked that thing was about a year ago and it was like 3 thousand and something.

From what I am told it is very accurate to what a site would be worth if it were sold. Counts google PR rating, backlinks, site's age, etc. A site's age is very important for value, because on most search engines, the older your site is, the age of your site affects how high on the search results your site sits.

i think the coolest thing is where it shows how much a single text link is worth. $5/month. I give my advertisers banner advertising (worth much more than text links) for just $50/year. excellent deal they get.

Yeah you can sell sites on ebay. I've purchased some internet property on Ebay before. The only problem is that while sites are worth a certain amount of money, it's always hard to find a buyer, especially if your site isn't making any money.

The price that it's valued at is mostly just for your domain name. If you have a lot of visitors coming to your domain name, people could take your domain name and turn it into a sales site and make some money off of it.

Also, if your Google PR rating is high, Google indexes your site a lot. I have had to ban Googlebot and Yahoo's bot from CR:U because they are ALWAYS indexing my site and it seems like they never get finished and it bogs down the server.

But i do know DragSource.com sold for something like $5,000.
