I am looking for someone to do some welding for me, this is the list of things I need done:

-boxing in my stock sway bar mounts, such as this: (although a much better job)

-boxing in my rear control arms. If i could find a pic for you I would but I can't at the moment. Picture a square tube with one side that is open, I want the open side welded shut so as to improve strength. There will need to be a gap so I can bolt on the sway bar endlink still.

edit: Here's some pics:

Let me know if you have the materials to do this and are a decent welder. Willing to pay you for your services too.

Where are they located at Colton? I'm out of town right now too otherwise I'd grab a phone book.

If I get the materials can anyone from here do this for me or know someone/or a shop that could?

send me a PM if you want, would be cheaper if you have material already cut and sufaces prepped... I can TIG or MIG them for you..

As soon as I pick up the materials I can send you a pm. It might be next week though because that's when I am on spring break.

BTW do you have any pics of some past stuff you have welded? Also if I came to you, how much would you charge to weld everything up?

I am going to work on the car a little bit tomorrow, but no promises can be made. I might have to wait till school lets out for the summer to pull the damn subframe off. Ugh.

I ended up picking up another cougar owners boxed subframe. Maybe later on I'll do some boxed control arms, ran out of time this week though.
