Ive got a 89 240sx coupe that im willing to sell. unknown miles on car because last owner swaped engines.

Rust on rocker panels and floor pan

nothing, it looks good. he was in my auto collision class and he repainted the trunk.

so you were in his class too huh... how bad is the rust? What engine did they swap? just another KA i hope. anyway... i have cash in hand, and that other guy hasnt answered me yet. Depending on the weather I might just drive up this weekend to take a look at them.

its a 5speed, and i think its another KA, i know its nothing special like a sr20. rust im not sure about. it might have some on the rockers and 1/4s but im not sure if it was his car or his friend in our class(who also has his car forsale on here)

I donno where matt is but i know a bit about the car so i'll post..

Its a SOHC engine, no leaks or anything.

He has daves old Corbeau's.

Rims are some no name 17's but they look nice.

Both rocker panels have rust, frame rails have some rust, floor pan has some rust. Once the weather gets better we'll be fixing it

Trunk had a spoiler with a little rust, Spoiler was removed, holes filled. Trunk was painted black.

The rust is pretty bad on the rockers. the dealership tried to ghetto fix it with fiberglass and did a horrible job.

once the weather got nice we were going to replace both rockerpanels and patch any other rust that needed fixed. If you were to buy it we could do it for you pretty cheap. 6 feet of steel bent how we need is about 40$ I would need 2. and maybe 40$. I would do it just cause your the guy who found me my car :). although it would take about 2 days (1 day is just cutting and treating the metal). I dont have a paint gun so it would be painted with cans, I dont know how closely the paint would match...

I dont think there is alot of rust on the frames, I havent gotten under the car before and its garged right now. floorpan has hardly any rust if any.

I Have a Loan out on it so i would need the money all at once, and since i have to pay the bank off it would have to be done sat mourning before noon because they close, if you want to do it this weekend. or we can figure out a different time.
