Ok, got 8 cars sitting at the house and don't need that many nor do we have room for them.

1) 1993 Ford ranger
3.0l v6 4wd, 5spd Just installed a new clutch, runs and drives great body is in good shape with a few defects but nothing bad and no rust. 4wd works great, has manual locking hubs and fairly aggressive tires. The only thing it needs is new rear shackles which is a very common problem for rangers and costs less than $100 to fix. I wouldn't mind keeping this one for myself but I already have 2 dsm's, a stealth, and the jeep so its got to go.

2000 as is, something could be worked out if the buyer wants the shackles fixed.

2) 1996 Ford Taurus
3.0l v6, auto. Runs very well, body is perfect, starts every time, 26mpg, has newer tires on it. It has a cel for torque converter clutch solenoid and the tranny seems to not want to "disengage" from the engine when coming to a stop. It eventually does but the rpms will drop low before it does similar to trying to stop a MT car without pushing in the clutch. Unfortunately we do not have a title for this car, the person we got it from never got it registered and we have no way of contacting the person we acquired it from to get a duplicate title so it is being sold as a parts car.

$1200

3) 1996 Pontiac Sunfire
Hot pink with a body kit, runs great. Never had a mechanical problem with it and gets great gas mileage. Aftermarket 17 or 18" chrome wheels (have to go out and look when its light out) The bad; The body kit needs some TLC as it has some damage from bumping into a curb, it also needs a new set of tires, one has a broken belt and the others are just worn.

$1300

4) 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
This was my daily driver/trailer tow vehicle for the past 2 years but I now can drive either of my talons and I need something more suitable for heavy loads on the car trailer. 5.2l V8 auto, fully optioned including power leather seats, automatic climate control, Reese hitch, full-time 4wd (works great), rear limited slip diff, heated mirrors, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, remote starter and the factory tow package which has lower gear ratio's in the axles and a trans cooler. Body is in very good shape, starting to show a small amount of surface rust along the rocker panels but nothing serious. All it needs is a new set of tires and a new exhaust (muffler is rotted out)
$4800 or would consider trade for an older Chevy 3/4 or 1 ton 4X4 pickup + cash.

Finally we have a 91 Dodge stealth TT that we are parting out, the car was flooded so most of the electronics are shot but if you need anything mechanical I can see what kind of shape it is in. It has rebuilt turbo's on it but I haven't determined if they are just stock rebuilds or if they are upgraded.

Pics to come, any questions feel free to ask. Sean.

what kind of flanges are on the turbos on the stealth? or if you know. would one of them fit on my talon? i need a turbo haha, so i thought id ask

They use a 3 bolt triangulated flange, so it wouldn't work without a custom manifold which wouldn't be worth it for such a small turbo.

If you need a turbo I have a 16g that needs rebuilt (blows smoke) That I would probably let go for $75

what exactly is the problem with the shackles and how many miles are on the ranger?

what exactly is the problem with the shackles and how many miles are on the ranger?

On the drivers side the shackle collapsed so the leaf spring is resting on the frame mount, on the passenger side the mount broke free of the frame so the spring is resting on the bottom of the box. I will check the mileage in the morning.

Luminator - I was told it was a big 16g when I acquired it but I matched up the part numbers and it is a small 16g. I dont have a complete set of lines for it, most of the ones I have are all plugged, rusted and bent.

How bad will this effect the driveability until it can be fixed?

It drives amazingly well actually, doesn't seem unstable in turns or hard braking. The person I bought it from put a 2X4 between the box and the spring so it levels the truck out. I just wouldn't go around throwing a bunch of concrete in the back of it until it is fixed.

Like I said, I wouldn't mind keeping it for myself but I dont have the time to fix the shackles and I have too many other projects sitting around the yard.

I will get a picture the shackle up this afternoon.

The hood is not closed all the way, it opens and closes fine. Here is the best picture of the shackle I could get without having to lay in the snow.

As far as being flexible on the ranger were not really going to move much, the bb value goes from 2200-3k depending on condition.

I have one guy at my workplace who is also interested so I am waiting to see what he offers me but my girlfriend rolled the jeep this morning so this weekend is pretty much taken up, possibly next weekend if his offer isn't any better?

BTW... the jeep isn't for sale anymore... :Hangman:
