I want to lower my blazer.

What are some opinion on the most cost effective way to do so?

If it has even remotely shiny rims, even if they are factory, you could park it on the SE side off first ave and the ghetto dwellers will lower it onto blocks for you....That'll give you at least a 6 inch drop and you won't have to pay a penny for the work!

that wont be tucking tire just to let you know. but check http://www.stylinconcepts.com there prices can sometimes be higher but you cant beat there customer service and fast shipping, its almost always here the next day.

i really wish i could afford bags but between 20s and other stuff i need to get done it doesnt fit into my buget.

what about heating springs or chopping springs?

NEVER heat springs

ive read up alot on cuting them and seems to be ok as long as you compinsate with the right shocks. which is what some race car teams do to get the right hieght and spring rates. but if you go any lower than 4in in the back youll prolly need some kind of a c-notch.

i really cant afford to have a kit so i may just chop the springs a notch or so. but the rims are mos def. maybe ill just ride at stock height.
