So thinking of setting myself out even more in the unique arena. Even though you dont see many satellites around i still want something different then the ones out there. It will be getting a hemi scoop later on and thinking sidepipes aswell. Below is a pic of without and a horrible chop of with. Opinions?

you should paint the top gloss black to match your interior. also, a pair of Superstock leafsprings would give you that distinct Mopar look, and help you hook up better.

just my opinion

I agree with everything dustin said, but i don't think i'd like the idea of gloss black on the top half. That's one thing i dont' like, but it's not my car. Sidepipes look good btw....i really like the black look to them. oh, and your photochop wasn't that bad, better than i could have done.

I vote no, but i hate all sidepipes. Either way its a nice car

it needs something to break up the purple in my opinion. maybe a wide black stripe running nose to tail, something lik 2' wide with 1" wide stripes beside it. like a wider 65-69 Barracuda strip. something like that. i dont think any other stock Mopar stripes would look good on it.

the suspension will be getting upgraded but not until i can get a baseline at the track to see how well my times improve.

Also been thinking of doing something to break up the purple which is why i left the trim on since i helps seperate it.

The passenger side with the white C pillar almost looks better then the purple, and i still havent figured out why that pillar never got painted.

lowered, attempted color match front bumper. black roof. tinted side back window.

i suggest making many parts purple, and ditching chrome parts etc. smooth out the lines of it. then when its al clean. and a thick black stripe along the bottom maybe.

lower black stripe. blacked out chrome around windows. removed trim chrome. others got a silver body line matches stripe.

i like the last 2. The last one reminds me of a baldwin motion stripe but reversed.

that with a nose to tail ralley stripe would look way nice

when I'm messing with the photos i can see the stripes in different colors etc. And with this big purple/blue car theirs not a lot of options. Like I don't imagine the owner plans to do major body modifications. So to make it UNIQUE, i thought most guys with these cars want them restored. Keep the chrome etc. I say bring it up to date. ditch the chrome mold things together if you can. color match a lot of it. a chopped top would be awesome on this car, its far to tall. not much you can do with the rear axle back, its just to long. I may when i get some time do an all out chop of it, as if i had the ability to do it in the real world-how it would look.

I must be the only one who thinks the car looks fine the way it is and that the stripes actually ruin it.

nah not really going to do any heavy body mods, bout the only thing i am doingas of now is shaving the antenna

Also since i will have holes in the hood and body to patch up from other trim and accesories i never received it would be a perfect time to do things such as this with the paint.

if you eliminated most of the body trim and painted the window trim black, it would make the chrome on the nose and tail REALLY stick out. that could look pretty cool

Run the pipe up and over the wheel, have the exhaust exit where the gas tank is, move the filler hose to the rear license plate. :)

^ sweet idea. or ditch a set of tail lights and run the exhaust outa the rear...grill.
