for those living in a cave, uiowa is playing utexas.. and i have to say.. it's off to a flipping start. 1st quarter, 11 minutes left, and it's already 7-0 IOWA. albert young got a 36 yard td, woohoo!

anyway, i had to share my excitement because i have a good feeling about the game. anyone else?

i say F-them Bryan. speak your mind and let the chips fall where they may. i know we lost, but the high point of the game for me was seeing my cousin(Pat Angerer, no 43) blow through a wall of Longhorns and tackle the runner. that was freaking awesome.

I was shocked to see so many Iowa fans down here. We live about 45 minutes from San Antonio, and we'd see people from Iowa with 'Go Hawks' driving down the highway and honk and give thumbs up to them. They'd give us funny looks when they saw Texas plates on our truck :)

We even ran into Iowa fans down in Corpus Christi last week. They are taking over!!!

why do you think iowa got into such a great bowl? they were what, 6-6? iowa fans travel anywhere to see iowa play in a good bowl. as long as iowa becomes bowl eligible, they will be in a decent bowl game.

I was happy to see the longhorns win. I've never been much of an Iowa fan...probably mainly because everyone else is. hah.

In fact... I just can't ever seem to get into college football. For some reason I can't get enough of the NFL though. go cowboys!
