I doubt any retail stores will have PS3's instock for the Christmas season. Sony only imported 400,000 and I highly doubt they'll bring any more in just create a lot of hype.

Oh and BTW, anyone who purchases a game console system for 5 times more than the retail price is a complete fucking lunatic. :rolleyes:

actually right now you would be a moron to think you will get one this year, and to put them on ebay. some listings are getting cancelled becuase of the high demand and not enough information being proveded also the average price of the day after the release is about $1000. But if you would like you with a warranty and before the holidays i have three and am willing to sell at $2500 obo right now if not once december hits i will put them on ebay and sell them for about 3-7 k because the demand will be even greater and supply small b/c of the people who think there will be another shipment before then and everyone that is selling them now!!!!

I guess the ps3's are actually worth more than 600$, Sony is taking a short term loss hoping to make a long term gain. Supposiblly losting nearly 200$ a system... (i doubt its that much but maybe)

a normal blueray drive and lazer MSRP is like $1k

so probably about half that for actual cost. So that's where sony is losing moneies i guess. But the PS3's seem to be going on ebay for a grand for most of em.
