I'm sure some of you have seen this before, but since I didn't see it on here I decided to post this anyway.

Short Description:

New Mach 1 with very few engine mods (although he has done alot of driveline mods as well as suspention work- but he is still running the stock Tremec 3650 trans.

He later ran mid 10s with the same setup with the addition of nitrous.

im curious to know how they got the race weight down so low. 3,300lbs is almost down to my raceweight, and my car is pretty stripped down...

Well according to Wikipedia (online encyclopedia) the 03-04 Mach 1 has a curb weight of 3,380 lbs. So he only had to loose 80lbs- easy to do- probably just lost the spare tire and added a rear seat delete kit.

You need to bring that mach up and put it on our scales at work. Or maybe you have a set at your job. Mine was about 3675. Anyhow good races...

I figured that duster was about 3k, 3.1k tops.

without me in it, yeah, might even dip into the 2900's. i always knew "raceweight" to include the driver; meaning that mach1 would probably have to shave 250-300lbs to get that light of raceweight.
