Decided instead of building this i'm just gonna dump more money into my satellite, no use having 2 vehicles i will only drive on the weekend.
Anyway its an 88 Trans Am, 350 tbi (supposed 20K but for sale unknown) 5 speed. Alittle cold blooded (found a fuel leak which is most likely the issue, but havent been able to fix it) but otherwise runs fine, drove it back from Illinois about 3 hour drive no problems.
Good:
power windows,
power locks (dont think they work, keyholes been shaved so i dont use them and i havent installed a keyless entry yet ($35)),
cd player (alpine) amp (400 watt) 2 subs (do to previous owner wiring it wines)
Cowl hood (looks to be a 3"-4", i can measure if you want exact)
Fresh paint (needs wet sanded, has slight orange peel)
Bad:
cold blooded so need to let it warm up alittle
2 tires dry rotted but comes with 2 good (on 14" rims tho, others are 15, you get complete set of rims tho)
missing radio faceplate
inside drivers door handle broke
not original headliner and sunvisors not installed but come with
speedo not hooked up
Stock oil pressure gauge doesnt work, but has aftermarket that does.
I think thats it, trying to be as honest as possible, if i think of something i will add it or you can come look at it and pick it apart wont hurt my feelings. Also clear title.
Included with the car will be a 383 crank, weiand Team G intake, cam (specs are Federal Mogul CS-186R Cam.. 230* dur, .480" lift, 109 lsa. have lifters and pushrods aswell), pistons and rods (will make 9.5 compression with 64 cc heads), oil pump and also a set of heads which i can get a casting number if need be. With the engine parts you should be able to get atleast 300-350hp if not more. My plan was to rebuild the engine into a 383 and have another weekend toy but i think i will just stick with the one now as i never drive that as it is.
Looking to get $2,000 obo which includes the all the extra parts listed and any other SBC parts i have laying around as i have no need for them.
No trades unless its parts for a 66 satellite or a 440.
