Last time I was out in Colorado I came across a supercharged fox body mustang highway patrol car. Blower out the hood and all, found it fairly entertaining.

speaking of fox bodies. last i remembered mt vernon actually has a fox body hatch. looks insanely sick. its white with the blue reflective stripes, blue fog lights, blue street glow. iowa city press citizen did an article on it last year i think. its a 5.0ho. nice lil set up. but the car is actually owned by some normal guy, but some leases the stang to the city for i think $2 a year?? they found some loop hole. and had to do it that way cuz the citizens of mt vernon would bitch about a 5.0 running around. just like the people from lisbon did when the lisbo fire department foubght a brand new f-350 4x4 and used city money for mudder tires, running board tool boxes and the works.

a handful of states actually used the 98-02 camaro's. sporting the ellis juan. some are still in service. i know florida highway patrol still has a few bouncing around. but some awesome cars none the less

but iowa patrol,as far as i know, are running the 3.5liter 6 cylinder motors. i actually sold a charger to the city here a few months back. they traded the v8 crown vic on the 6cyl charger. i dunno. the patrol may be different, have more of a budget than cities or towns. but yeah. haha

it is a z06. but that isnt the only big baller they have. so far i found out bloofield hills has 3 ls1 camaro's. 2 z06's and 2 c6!!! im trying to get a link to these things. i can see the thimbail, but they have these sites shut down for some reason. do a google on " bloomfield hills police cars" they have a cadillac something or other too. awesome list!

Ok check this out my mom it the financial director for Hiawatha citie hall so we know all the cops there. And are good friends with the sheriff. And about a month ago he got a new silver charger R/T the hemi you know. He wreaked it about two weeks later and hade a hilarious white neck brace on for a while couldn’t help but laugh. Now he has a regular charger its silver and undercover so look out.

regular charger??? so u mean a 6cylinder. cuz their are 3 chargers. the charger (3.5 6 cylinder) the charger r/t (5.7 hemi) and the srt8 charger (6.1 hemi)

It was the R/T Hemi now its not that’s all I know so its probably the v6

Iowa state patrol has all 3 versions of the charger. Talked to acouple troopers about a month ago. Seen acouple too and they look good, and are alot better then the crown vics.
