I remember when I first saw that last year, it would suck to see the car you put so much time into burn to the ground.

Wow. I wonder if disconnecting the battery really would have saved the car?

That almost happened to my car once, but it was a....stereo problem. heh. To make a long story short it ended with me cutting through two 0-guage wires and ripping the amp out of my car (which was screwed in behind the seat) and throwing it into the grass next to my driveway.

The C.R. fire dept. wouldn't be there that quick. I watched a neighbors van burn to a frame by the time fire fighters got there. When I called 911 they asked if any houses were in danager of catching on fire, I said no then they said we'll get someone out there, 22 minutes later they came. I called when the gas tank popped, that's when I first realized the van was on fire. They parked over top of a pile of leaves and caught the leaves on fire last fall.

I've had a few cars catch on fire.... I always carry an extinguisher, although sometimes they just don't cut it. Good song.
