Ok, say you where saving a bunch of money to go to a nice but REALLY expensive school. Then do to a TON of different things you decided it would make much more sense to go to a closer school which cost only 8% of what the other school cost. So point being you have a bunch of extra money, like $10K "burning a hole in your pocket"
WHAT WOULD YOU BUY/SPEND IT ON?
I was thinkin buy my crotch rocket this winter (ive been lookin for quite some time and they are dirt cheap in the winter) buy a nice front wheel drive 4banger, and build a DOHC motor for my fiero that can handle like 20 pounds of boost.
EDITED: that was a spelling DISASTER!!

I have a plan if I had $10k to burn. It involves a nice 360 and some modifications to my car.

fox you only have $10,000... you're gonna buy a house with that? lol
I heard on the radio yesterday, that some girl (i didn't hear where this happened) was waiting tables at her work and some random stranger left her a $10,000 tip. NO JOKE. he handed it to her and was like "here you go this ought to get you something nice."
Sounds like a nice guy, i need to bump into him at a Handimart or something.
If i were to just spend the money, it'd be on a sweet turbo and built motor for my civ. (call me old fashioned.....)
Or i'd put into a bank somewhere with great interest rates and let it grow a while.

Forged internals ($1200; out of a wrecked 03-04 Cobra) (Need everything but the crank- crank is already forged)
Stage 2 Crower cams ($1,100)
31 spline axles ($800)
New Black/Chrome Bullitt deep dish wheels and some sticky rubber ($1500)
Stock 03-04 Cobra Clucth Assembly ($600)
Full Exhaust ($2000) (All MRT stuff- LT headers H pipe and catback)
Steeda Sort Shifter ($160)
Total: $7,360
Hmm... I guess I'd buy a buttload of lotto tickets and hope I score big so I could continue.

I would put it away and save more for a down payment on a house for when my girlfriend and I graduate college. Seems like the best option to me.

Yeah it is crazy but it breaks down like this: good set of headers (not the cheap shorty style) $950.00, H pipe $515.95, and a catback $450.00. Total: $1,915.95; not quite 2 grand but that is witout shipping and tax.
It is on the expensive side because:
A) My car isn't the same as a reguar 16 valve Mustang GT its a 32 vavle Mach 1. Even though it is just the headers that are diffrent the sound and exhaust pipe size is bigger than a GT- some people with Mustang GTs swap stock mach 1 catbacks and H pipes for their stock parts.
B) My car is a limited production car parts arn't as common- although most 03-04 SVT Cobra parts work.
C) I will only buy high quality stuff for my car.
Its the price I pay for wanting something diffrent and unique.

I would either put it on as a downpayment on a brand new car or put it into my house.
I would have to pick from a few cars though
07 Evo, 07 STI, 93-98 Supra, 92-99 3000gt...i could go on. I would probably look for a Supra right away and try to find one thats immaculate. I already have a house, so i guess it's all cars for me
I guess I could build a motor and tranny for my GSX...but it's getting old and I can't really justify spending 10k on it.
