View Full Version : Wanted:cheap laptop or desktop

G/f could use a cheap laptop or desktop for school, just needs to be able to write reports and such, dont think she needs it for more then that. Also has to be able to use a flash drive so usb ports need to work.

Cheaper the better as she wants to pay for it and you all know what school does to the wallet.

For a desktop i will pay more for something that is better then my 7 yr old one.

I have a little cheapy desktop I could sell ya. $40. Pentium 3 (somewhere between 800 and 900 mHz). 20 GB HDD. Could load an O.S. on it but that'll cost a little extra.

my girlfriends got a nice dell. its got xp pro runs great and silently. $100 w/ keyboard and mouse and monitor.
