Suspension People, here's your time to give advice.

I'm looking to buy a pair of shocks to lower the front end of my ranger a little bit and if they're good ones im going to buy another pair and lower the back end as well. I was just wondering what grade of quality these shocks are. I know DJM is a pretty good type, but I really don't know much about suspension..what do you guys think? also, anyone know what size i would need to buy in order to lower my ranger 2-3 inches? i figured the first choice ( 13.5" extended, 9.25" Collapsed) but i don't know for sure. http://www.autoanything.com/suspension- ... 9A0A0.aspx (http://www.autoanything.com/suspension-systems/65A2509A0A0.aspx)

shocks can't lower your truck, those are to be used on a truck that is lowered.

mmk, well other than shocks and springs, what else would i need to buy in order to lower it?

how low do you want to go? depending on that depends on what you will need

get yourself some drop spindles for the front and some lowering blocks for the back. its as easy as that.

alrighty, thanks guys. but the only drop spindles i can find online here at for 1998-2005 rangers, now..do any of you know if they would still fit my 93?

You need to buy dropped i beams. Your ford ranger is set up with an i beem style of suspension thats is kinda hard to explain. NO spindles won't work and usually a lowering spring is only 2 inches. If you wanna talk more about this call me at the shop and i can try to find ya the best kit for the money.
