new to me. i thought it was reasonably amusing; although if someone were to walk up to me on the street and do a word association with miserable failure, id probably say GWB too....

well idk bout u guys but i saw that a long time ago. On snopes they have a page explaining it that was last updated in 2003 so yeah its old. lol

That's kinda funny, here's a link explaining how this is possible for those of you who were stumped. lol

Basically you type in a specific word exe: "jackass" and find something within that search results (exe: a link to a CR:U page) and then you have thousands and thousands of people go into google and type in "jackass" and find that CR:U page in the results.

Eventually google recognizes that obviously (according to the results) when people type in the word "jackass" into their search engine, most people end up clicking on the CR:U page, so it moves CR:U to the top of the list.

I've seen webmasters attempt to perfect this on their site. I actually have a program that does this :)
