I am going to paint the calipers on my Saab this weekend. They are somewhat crusty, and need to be cleaned up.

What color caliper would go good with a metallic grey colored car? I was thinking either black, silver or red. I don't want it to be too 'boy racer' which is why I am not sure if red is a good choice.

Input?

Do either black or the silver. Just dont think red would look that good.

definitely silver. That car looks way too good to go red. Then again....i can't know for sure unless I saw it in red.

Red is kind of the traditional color for high performance calipers IMO, but if you absolutely do not want red, then silver is a nice nuetral color. Are the calipers on your car the two-piece style with sliders... the kind where you can see the brake pad's backplate?

pretty much took the words out of my mouth. i thought red at first, but yeah, silver would also go with the car well.

I did them in black, turned out really nice. I'm too lazy to post a pic though. :)
