Well this might be good news for you all, and sad news for me...Heres the story, A good freind of mine that I grew up with, and went to school with, Is in town for the Holidays with his family. He now lives in Colorado springs, Co...Anyway he has always wanted to buy the Nova after I sold it years ago, but was not in a financial positon to do so. He is now a very large,well to do electrical contrator in Colorado, After stopping over tonight and seeing the car in the shop, he has made George a VERY,VERY good offer on the car, and has agreed to have it picked up and taken to Colorado before he leaves on the 3rd of Jan. As much as we hate to see it go, I live with the theory every thing has a price, and the price was hit ......After he left, George was having a hard time decideing what to do, But as of beddy by time tonght, he has told me " Sorry dad, but the old Nova is going By,BY" Oh well what can I do...So Ryan, you and Jesse can breath easyer now..lol, See ya on the side lines...Ed :bawling:

I know of a few guys doing some projects right now. They would definately be contenders for Ryan and Jesse. The only thing up in the air is they are both brothers and they may be moving away for college. They haven't made up their minds but they always do everything together. (wierd twin thing) So it will definately suck to see them go. They were hoping on crashing down on the import scene right now. We'll see what things look like when spring comes.

Well, I just personally seen a 1g tonight that just got back from being tuned, It has been being built over the past two years by a freind of mine, (older dude). It is tuned and ready for the streets, they were mounting the M/T on it when I was there. I did get some photos, But will not post them untill I get the OK, Lets just say that it made WELL over 600+ hp, I seen the Dyno sheets, and the photos from the day at the dyno. It was tuned at Dyno Dynamics, in I belive Rhode Island, not 100% sure. Trust me you know my feelings towards imports, but this thing is BAD AZZ...He has also said he will race for fun a FEW times, but is not opening the hood...dont worry it is all turbo no spray...GOOD luck, guys...Dam another OLD dude racing... :supz:

I just got off the phone with Derak, he says NO pics... I can say it is a Red 1990, w/gun metal gray RX7 wheels with M/T... other than that, looks all stock, NO ROLL ONs, all 1/4 racing... He says he will find the major import players...DAM this is going to be good... :supz:

Trevor, This old dude..Derak is pretty hush, hush about his toys...Dont like to give out alot of info, I am going to post a pic of the motor, soon, Family guy and dont go out to play much, but plans to come into CR a few times this summer... As far as the GSX, NO IMPORTs, chances are, there will be a brand new 2006, We have been looking at the new Camaros, I think they are bas azz. But I do not know if they are going to release them in 06 might be 07...I am sure there will be something...

GT0's Fall on their face when it comes to puting down numbers. or at least the 04 GTO we had at school did i wanna say they are rated at 350HP factory with the 5.7 the most we saw was 235 at the wheel's with a factory fresh car (less than 100 miles on it). I dont know what the 6.0L's do but its supposed to be better.

as far as the 07 skyline it will be a V6 twin turbo i dont belive they are claiming 400+ hp out of them due to HP restrictions in Japan limiting measured out put at 280hp or some thing stupid like that.

Didnt all the japenese companys have an agreement not to rate their hp over 270something? anyway they dont do that anymore. But it doesnt matter what the manufactor rates it as anymore thanks to the SAE ratings

The japs had a "Gentleman's Agreement" not to produce cars over 280 PS (~276 HP) in order to prevent an expensive power race between the MFGs. It wasn't a rule. Most MFGs sold cars that were advertised at 280 PS, but were really higher than that.

Second - i beleive it said travis so make up your mind.

Fourth - if i have a problem with something i dont deal with it behind the steering wheel of a car, i think you can figure out the rest but with that spelling i'm not sure and may have to spell it out for you.

Finally - how about you put some of that 2 large towards some schooling, with an emphasis on grammer and spelling. i make mistakes but man i haveseen 8 year olds with better spelling.

Here's where I stand on grammar and spelling. It's not super important...but with this guy it was difficult to even understand what he was trying to say. It's annoying to be honest.

I hate to make too big of a deal about it, and fussing back and forth between him and everyone else was just fine. But when Ashley received a PM that looked like it was written by Charles Manson himself, he's lucky I don't put his ass in prison for shit like that.

It's just the internet dude. Way to take things so serious as to make death threats to somebody. It makes even less sense than road rage.

So as I said before, when he learns how to effectively communicate without getting "over-excited" he can come back to the site.

I'm a fair man. Not out to physically or emotionally hurt anyone. I understand when someone makes you look stupid in public it can hurt your feelings, but like I said in my first post, lets keep it in the realm of reality here.
