That's a pretty hard comparison. They both have their good cars and both have shitty cars. Overall I think Toyota has came out with a "faster" car.

I like Honda, but they've been stuck on their High-Rev no Torque formula for years now.
Then again, Toyota has gone towards econo cars as of late (cutting the MR-S and Celica, from what I've heard.)
Personally though, I've never owned a Toyota, so I can't really say what's good or bad about em.
I do love my Prelude to death, so props to Honda for that.
Now if they'd just make a RWD/AWD remodel of the Prelude, then I'd be set. :)

forgot the nsx, thats almost a super car, and classified outside of this comparison (IMO)

Actually if I recall correctly though, once upon a time someone posted up a article concerning all of the info on the Supra, 3000GT, NSX, and at least one other car maybe two, can't remember, but if I recall the Supra had the NSX beat on numerous area's. Compare the price between the two also. Supra price > NSX price.

I got to go with toyota- not because I have owned one but because they make/made more stuff that I like.

They made the Supra, FJ40, Landcrusiers, Celicas, MR2/MR-S Scion TC (supercharged ones only; I hate the XA and XB) the old Toyota Truenos and Corollas are awesome cars, and the list could go on and on.

I do have to say that Honda does make some great cars- but for some reason I never liked Honda, I think that a CRX with a swapped in H22 is sweet but honestly the only Honda I would own it the S2000- those things are like Crotch Rockets with four wheels!

I will buy Acuras though- they are diffrent, Acura is in American made (in my opinion), just like Lexus is to Toyota, Lexus is diffrent, they may share the same part bins but they are still diffrent.

Acura = American
Honda = Japanese

are you picking toyota over honda just because of a few cars? or are you looking at all cars that they make? i honestly think that honda would be better because all i know of from toyota is the supra...that's the only atleast decent car that i know of from toyota.

its a 2004-2005 TL and it has a 3.5 V6 i believe, but the TSX which looks similar but smaller has the 2.0 RSX engine w/ 6 speed. Im pretty sure the TL is available with a 6 speed as well.

I forgot to mention the 2000 GT from Toyota, wayyy back in the day. Too bad it was introduced in the late 60's, when no one took Japanese sports cars seriously :(
kudos points to toyota for this marvel :)
