So my car is @ the shop in new mexico. It supposedly put down 640awhp on pump gas. and someone offered me $25k for it.
My thoughts are if I sell it.
Get first gen eclipse and aim for 9's
RB25 into a s14 and all the goodies
Big single fwd 3000gt and gut it.
buy another vr4 make it BPU and keep the $

You should give it to ME. But I highly doubt that will happen. Thats a huge acomplishment bro. You have to take into consideration if it has any sentimental value to you. But there are always bigger and better things waiting out there for you.

640 hp...that's pretty ridiculous.
I'm amazed man...I didn't even know that you'd done that much to your 3000gt. awesome.
Hope if you sell it that you find something nice.
An RB25'ed Silvia would be REALLLLLLY nice :D

Supra Syondrome? I don't understand... :(
Lot's of power but can't get it all to the ground dyno-queen. That's what I think he's saying.

640 is what is hitting the ground. Supra syndrome is when the low hp and high hp cars make the same et pass because its hard to drive/driver sucks
Well I have the 3rd fastest stock 60' time known. so dont think the driver will be the issue :)

If you wanted to get an eclipse and shoot for 9's, why not use the 2nd gen shell? That way you have a sweet looking ride and you can put 1st gen parts in it as necessary and shoot for 9's or maybe even faster than that if you really want to get nasty.

i dont like seeing Supras at the strip because they can run well into the 9's, and still not pull the front wheels. then you'll see an 11 second domestic that does. im a fan of torque, and it seems Imports usually dont have as much. just not my cup of tea. it is pretty unconventional though, i would keep your car.

Supra's are highway cars.
so are a lot of Domestics. dont get me wrong, i like Supras, but i understand they werent built so much for 1/4 and thats fine. a lot of domestics are highway cruisers as well. look at that vid of the TT Firehawk racing the Hayabusa on the highway. that things was nuts.

Supras will make alot of torque, but its not where your V8 makes it in the powerband :D

yeah, IE, not at the launch. thats the neat thing about pushrods. torque down low. you gotta love it.

my car hits peak at around 6200 thank you very much. on stock internals(cast crank and rods) my motor revs freely to 7000+. personally i like having a powerband thats quite usable on the street.
