i used to be total straight line, but after going road racing once, it really opened my eyes to how fun it is. i dont know, dragracing is easier, cheaper and a blast. but if you have the means, roadracing is a lot more involved, and runs last longer.

I prefer road racing and auto-x hands down over drag racing.

That's not always true. Being as you can spend well over a million in either field on just one car.

you can, but i think you need a lot more expirience to be a good roadracer than a good drag racer. i know there is tecnique and skill in both, i just think roadracing demands more.

There is a track in Marshalltown that they run on a road course from what I have heard.
While I enjoy drag racing, I might switch my focus to more of Auto X this year.

roadracing is a lot harder on your suspension, especially the brakes. when i went, the guy with the Z06 went through a brand new set of brake pads that weekend. it was crazy.
