Might as well make a build thread for the STI, Ive had one for every car Ive owned on here since back in 2002 or so.
The cars a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, aspen white, 116k miles on it.
At this point the car is a stock engine/transmission with basic bolt ons. Most of the parts put into this car are just improvements to drive-ability or handling or maintenance.

I use the car for just about everything so I had the a/c recharged, nice a/v setup and roof rack for the extras.

Onto the parts list.
Interior is stock with a pioneer dvd/nav head unit and redline goods alcantera boots. Windows are tinted to help it stay cool. Aside from the wideband, everything is Monitored from a Cobb Accessport.

Engine is stock with a cobb intake, Cobb turbo back, Tial QR bypass valve, Killer-B oil pickup, Exedy stage 1 clutch, several after market bushings throughout and a Walbro 255 with in-tank filter removed for an in-bay in-line filter.

Suspension is Tein Street flex coilovers, I have two sets of these with different spring rates and I run the softer springs. BBS wheels are on Continental contact dw 225/45/17 tires
Appearance wise, the car is fairly simple. Rally Armor mudflaps to save the paint, perrin winglets in the spoiler, seibon CF hood with aerolatch latches and fresh paint to match. Winter setup is Drag DR31 wheels in black.

Thanks guys. I'll post a few more updates, but as of now, I just need to have (a professional) the steering angle sensor put in before I go back to the track. Id like the car 100% rather than have that center diff in default mode.

Removed the factory in tank fuel filter and replaced it with some walbro line as well as a walbro 255 in tank pump.

In line filter for fuel added under hood for easy access
out for a cruise one day...really it was a search for decent E85...never did find anything over e75 that day.

You're always meticulous about your cars, props. E85 not easy to find this year?

Quick Star E75 here all day :) Ethanol is pretty damn effective anywhere past E55 really, I know the tune changes some, but I'd rather not be on the edge anyway.

Thanks Justin, someday I will get it on E85, its not very fast for a sports car so it needs something, or Im gonna get bored and sell it off.
A month back or so I removed the interior and cleaned everything. I used scrubbing bubbles on the metal and plastic parts, and borrowed a friends bissell spot cleaner vacuum that sprays water/cleaning solution and then vacuums it out, for carpet and seats.

I installed a Perrin fender well intake just last week, hoping for cooler air intake temps and it definitely shows a difference.

My new steering angle sensor is in as well, so I took it to the track along with Dustin to see if the car ran any better than last year. First pass and best pass was a sad 13.6 @ 99mph (shifting to 5th). Not impressive by any means but I need the car to get me home too so 1.89 60' will have to do.

I sold off some all seasons on my spare wheels and picked up General Altimax studded snow tires for this winter.

Imports or any small engine car almost need to be on e85 or pump/meth to really do much for the most part as you know. I figured you are a little low on mph, but that is probably due to your shift to 5th (good god my S4 could just touch 4th LOL) close to the end of the track when looking at your 1/8th time/mph. I've probably got 50 S4 timeslips to compare to yours for fun as they would have been close in the past. The car has most bolt ons and bumped up boost right Colton?

Lets see some comparable time slips, very curious how my car is acting compared to others. The MPH to me seems rather low for sure, and the rpm drop to 5th in these cars is fairly dramatic. The Subaru is bolt ons, with a little tuning on the safe side with boost added, but tapering off as the small turbo is out of steam.

I think it would be a fun match up to see how my SHO stacks up against it. Stock they run 14 flat, but I'm going to throw a tune in it.

That could be close, stock STI 1/4 mile is 13.98, so the biggest mod for me will be that mechanism between the pedals and steering wheel. Frustrating though because my TBSS after the trans build was just as fast with zero effort, just push the pedal.
