1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RCSB 4x4
I have done the following maintenance on this truck, all within the last 10K miles
-Replaced intake manifold gaskets
-Replaced Front and rear main Seals, and both cover gaskets
-Replaced Oil Pan Gasket and cleaned oil pan
-Replaced Valve Cover gaskets
-Upgraded oil pump - great oil pressure.
-Replaced exhaust manifold gaskets
-New spark plugs and wires
-New Serpentine Belts
-New Starter
-New Water Pump / thermostat
-New Fuel Filter
-New Air Filter
-New Cabin Air Filters
-Transmission rebuild -- 10K miles ago
-New Torque Converter
-New CV Axles
-New Idler / Pitman arms
-Front diff fluid change (full synthetic as per GM)
-4 new tires
-Transfer case fluid change
-Rear differential fluid change
-New Fuel Filler neck and cap
-Professionally tinted windows
This has been a great truck, and has tons of life left in it. This is the 4.8 / 4L60E combo. It gets around 16-17mpg on the hwy, and still has enough power to pull a trailer. Heat and A/C both work very well. Doesn't leak any fluids (see extensive maintenance above) or have any mechanical issues. The 4wd is manual on the floor, and works as it should. This truck came with the base model seats, but I've upgraded them to the 40/20/40 cloth seats. It does have manual windows, but came with cruise control and cloth floorboards. It does have a bed cover that can be opened / closed, but I don't have the key. Now for the not-so-good. This truck spent most of its life in Iowa / Illinois, and does have some typical chevy rust for the age. The rear fenders are rusty, as well as the rockers. Cab corners are in decent condition. The paint is in overall good condition, but it does have some scratches / blemishes. I have laid pretty much everything out, but feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm asking $4000 obo. Clean title, in hand.
