Faceplated trans, dont see the big accomplishment here? Theres locals that run faster, naturally aspirated with small blocks and faceplated manual trans.

Those passes are a hot mess, but fun as hell to watch. I don't think the face plated trans counts either(not that an exhaust out the hood is much better :)), but I guess it's cool. If it's not helical and synchronized its not a street manual IMHO. I mean can people put up with other stuff sure, but get real.

Yeah I hear ya man, with the controversial exception of a lenco which is actually a very streetable transmission and way easier to shift than even a synchro'd stock T56. People just dont like cutting up the car and having all those levers sticking up in a street car I guess.
