Humboldt Tall corn open Saturday 9/13/14

Anyone going to this? Or does anyone on here go to Humboldt at all? I got up there for the first time last weekend in 9 years. And it looks like I'm going back this weekend. "Run what ya brung" King of the hill style. 1st place is $2000! After seeing some of the vids/pictures from CF last week I'd really like to see some of you guys show up. There aren't too many "modern cars" or any turbo cars that race there that I know of. For those of you that haven't been there, its a pretty old school track with good people running it and very lax rules. Their website isn't that great, but they seem to update Facebook a little better.

Do you know what class of cars run at this? Is would the average 9 second street car have a chance?

It's bracket racing 1/8 mile. Pretty much anything goes I'm guessing.

I was just pulling up from the staging lanes when another breakdown happened so i had to wait until pro 2 ran to make sure the track was good and by that time I was half asleep lol.

83 mercury two door. We had plans on spraying the old motor to death b4 we pulled it but couldn't find a kit.

I just as well have given you my kit. My new converter is way too loose. It just bounces off the limiter in every gear on only a 100 shot. I think we left around that same time, or the next big break down. Lots of people breaking.

The old 302 still runs I'd like to see how many 100 hp shots down the strip it will take if you would let me use it. Even hydro bottle for ya if it needs it.

Im not even sure how you'd rig it up. Its a dual nozzle efi "wet" kit. I do have extra solenoids for it that I assume are good (I just replaced them since it sat for so long, but they looked fine)
