Hey how's it going? I've only been in Des Moines for a few weeks but have already met a bunch of really good guys. I was at the IAF shootout this weekend and was impressed with the quality of cars around here.

I've got a Evo IX that has been through several stages. The latest a built motor/head. I only got in two passes this weekend.. the first pass i blew an ic pipe and the second pass was a 10.8@133. After parking i found that the oil pump decided to break on me.

Thanks! I'm an air traffic controller for the faa. They decided Des Moines was a good first airport for me lol

The car is only making around 620 hp right now and my 60' were horrible. The setup has 9's in it for sure. Just need some more fuel so Clinton and I can turn the boost up. Next year should be a lot better.

thats an interesting job. i had considered that career briefly before going into computers. read it was stressful, is that true?

I love the job. I did it for 4 years in the army before getting picked up by the FAA. It all depends on the individual. It can get stressful. The job definitely isn't for everyone.

Haha. It's capable of a lot more. Right now it's around 32# of boost. Next year she'll be all out, Just needs another fuel pump.
