Leaning on September 6th . I'm off to a late start planning this year and 8/23 is a bit soon. And trying to get a bit warmer date than our Oct dates we've had the past two years.

I'd prefer the 6th as well. 23rd is around the time of the DSM Shootout I'm planning to go to this year so not sure if I'd be able to make it.
October would be okay with me too but I feel like September 6th might be a better shot for weather and before some people start putting their cars down for the winter.

September would probably be a good date. The way the weather has been so far this "summer", it might be snowing by October.
