Kots 2014

[Clinical]

Hey not sure who all else here went, we took Brad's (01teggy on here) mustang gt. Actually couldn't get the car to run right in boost and finally kind of figured it out (we think) basically like one or two nights before KOTS. The two of us ran on the street (in mexico of course) and I beat him mostly because of outlaunching him and he didn't catch up but he was gaining hard. The car literally would NOT build any boost off the line. Luckily his tuner was at KOTS with another car racing jr's and made a few adjustments to the tune, mainly adding some timing down low. It launched better but still was very lazy out of the hole and the car is still not really fully tuned anyway. Still though he made it to the 2nd round which was further than we thought he would then got knocked out by Scary Jerry, last year's Jrs winner. So we were plenty happy and still had a blast.

Anyways just figured I'd share this video I threw together. Not that great, just clips I recorded with my gopro by hand (no case or anything for it) but still has some good footage here and there. got home at 3:30am this morning and threw the clips together and uploaded it. Figure some people might like to see some of the wild rides who weren't there.

a couple of us went up there. we left after round 2 though because we had to get back. the down time between rounds was insane

yeah the worst was the wait between gangsters finalist and the last race - the senior finalist. Was like an hour and a half wait, was stupid .. no idea what took them so long. Whole lot of sitting around doing nothing a lot of the day. I understood the wrecks causing delays but sometimes they just didn't say anything and you'd just be sitting around forever.

Wow I cant believe they still let people stand along the wall thats crazy but maybe thats just me getting old
