Alternator/rotor repair

My 1980 XS650 isn't charging the battery, after some trouble shooting I have determined my rotor is bad and needs to be rewound or replaced. Does anyone know of a place local that can rewind it for me rather than me sending it to Alabama to get it done.

They have done an alternator for me in the past and it was pretty cheap.

Been using them for a decade and they are awesome. They've rebuilt dozens of alternators/starters for me, converted some to single wire, replaced factory studs with larger OFC studs, converted to external regulators, etc... They can do pretty much anything and they do it at a great price with a quick turn around.

They rebuild my Audi alternator and will do all my other crap when needed and only took a day or so. Good old boys

None of these places are willing to rewind it for me :( guess i'll be buying a new one
