Sweet. Is that on pump E85 or what fuel? Any meth? Looks good, can you push it higher and crack 4 digits?

Just E85. I wanted to push it higher, but my eBoost 2 crapped out on me during the session and I had to swap in a manual boost controller. And my wastegate springs are 7#s each, so that's what I was limited to.

Gotcha. What kit is that? I've see it around, but never follow up on the make of it. Is it the one with cast manifolds? Kurgen using the stock ECU for tuning?

The kit (http://www.hellionpowersystems.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=183). Yep, stock ECU.

Glad that manual boost controller worked out. Car is an animal man, glad I got to see it there!

Thanks! Now if I could only spool the turbos while staged...

Can the car use the boost off the line anyway? I figured with some slicks and a high rpm launch it would still be able to get a decent 60?

Couple weeks ago at Eddyville, it was dead-hooking on a 6,000 RPM launch (off a two-step) on drag radials (no boost)...but right after launching the car would nosedive like a porpoise. It was like the car wasn't making enough power, unboosted, to handle a dead hook - for example, when I tried to leave @ 3,500, it stalled the car. Best 60' was ~ 1.95, which is pretty weak.

Have you thought about gears? Sort of crazy considering the top end power you have though and the gearing you need to complete the 1/4 mile in 4th. Do you have a two step now or just leave on the upswing of the throttle. You can get a little more turbo spool into it if you leave on the upswing of the throttle rather than holding it solid ag 6k and dumping the clutch, but it gets tricky to hit it just right. I'm sure it is a pain as a lot of ls guys will run those same size turbos on larger engines that have more off boost torque and still have problems launching with a manual.
What compression ratio is the engine? I'm sure Ford dropped it quite a bit to sell to the public as a boost engine, but with e85 it probably could use the compression. Low compression is always so soft off boost. It would be nice if you could add an 2 step with antilag control to build boost unloaded with timing retard.

Yeah, not ready for the gear discussion...yet. Although I am running 3.31s and a 2.66 fist gear. I have it on the two-step now. The engine is 9.5:1.
"It would be nice if you could add an 2 step with antilag control to build boost unloaded with timing retard." THAT is exactly what I think I need. In the interim, I'm planning on installing N2MB's WOT box (http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox), which some claim allows manual cars to build boost unloaded. We shall see, I guess.

Sounds like you're gonna have to ride the clutch out like an awd car. Awesome power, any pics of the setup?
