wtb older tow beast truck

Would perfer a 90s Chevy/gmc dually with a 454 but would consider a ford with a idi or 7.3 Dont want a single cab or a 6.5
just want something to tow a car/skid loader and occasionally dirt/gravel

2wd or 4wd? 2wd cummins trucks can be found at times fairly cheap if wanting a diesel. decent on mpg. 94-95 auto have had some issues, but the 12 valve motors seem to last forever

How soon do you need one? We are retiring one of our old tow trucks, it's a 90's Dually with the 454. The last time I looked I think it had around 70,000 miles on it.
