Possible leaked footage of 13/14 GT500 lap at the ring.
The cool part is the last video where Sid from SVTP put a video of a ZL1 lap against the GT500 video and then again with the new Z28 race car. You can basically watch simultaneous laps and see how they compare. Its estimated to be slightly faster than the ZL1 and potentially close to the new Z28.

pretty easy to edit the speed playback of videos. A 1% change in playback speed would create about 5 second difference in the lap and be very hard to detect. I wouldn't put much faith in these videos unless they are from a reliable source

I'm not sure where the Camaro vid came from but I believe the GT500 vid was sent to SID (owner of SVTPerformance) on a flash drive directly from SVT (by mistake possibly???)

Hopefully there is official announcements that come soon but either way I'm impressed with all 3 vehicles based off of the videos. On a side note GT500 FTMFW :banana:

You would believe Government Motors testing, because your love for the LS runs deep...:) Reminds of GM's test showing the ZL1 ran a 11.9 1/4 mile, but no one could ever duplicate...

I raced one at CFR ... 12.4 on a 1.7 60' with a good driver.

Either way it's pretty clear all three cars are damn fast and probably pretty close to each other. Hopefully some legit numbers are released soon.

12.4 seems about typical. Guy on yellowbullet just went 12.4@112(!) with one. I call it butt slow for 580hp....
