Big Thanks to Steve O & Lorenzo for all your hard work on The Business Coupe! As always TOP NOTCH work! Car went to get the 4130 Cromoly 8.50 cert cage done, installed Chris Alston swing outs and did a bunch of fab work in the trunk of the car (Groceries will fit well in there). They also plate patched the tunnel where the old 5 speed was as well as mount my seats and make custom brackets for fitment to be sure I was 100% comfortable in the car, along with a few other things I needed done. The cage fits extremely tight just as I wanted and im super excited to be able to roll around on the street without the side bars!http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/IMG_0704_zps728f0c76.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/IMG_0704_zps728f0c76.jpg.html)bars http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/IMG_0697_zps8f4e6bd2.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/IMG_0697_zps8f4e6bd2.jpg.html) http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/IMG_0696_zps183c244a.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/IMG_0696_zps183c244a.jpg.html)http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/11459_2233688559743_2044924022_n_zps05b87d6d.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/11459_2233688559743_2044924022_n_zps05b87d6d.jpg.h tml)http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/528171_2233688879751_1830876478_n_zps4713b33a.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/528171_2233688879751_1830876478_n_zps4713b33a.jpg. html)http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/IMG_0702_zps098a3004.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/IMG_0702_zps098a3004.jpg.html)http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/970296_2234688584743_1635141504_n_zpse86cfbcd.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/970296_2234688584743_1635141504_n_zpse86cfbcd.jpg. html)http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k216/streetsweeper_01/970296_2234688584743_1635141504_n_zpse86cfbcd.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/user/streetsweeper_01/media/970296_2234688584743_1635141504_n_zpse86cfbcd.jpg. html)

I can't tell from the photos, does the fuel cell sit flush in the trunk? If so that's awesome, like you said tons of room for groceries.
Cage looks awesome. I wish I would have bought and built a notch years ago.

Yes, 15 gallon cell sits flush with the trunk. It's pretty sweet for sure!

I've got the same swingout kit. It's nice other than the fact it was installed a little tight.

Looks like good work. Where are they out of? Approximate price for an 8.50 cert cage? I'll be doing one this winter if all works out.

I had the deal done and was going to pick that car up last fall, and he called and told me he was going to keep it, about 3 weeks ago I got an email from a guy who owns it know, turns out this dude bought it about 4ths ago and needs to sell it now, but he wants 35K told him to keep it. I had it bought for $27.5 at the time. The car now runs 7.90s/8.0s with the new owner.

Did you get pins for the bottom too or just use the bolts? I spent the extra $10 to get pins so I can take the bars out without any hassle for when I'm not at the track. I actually found that I drove the car more after I got it done. Maybe I'm just an old and fat, but climbing over the bars all the time took the joy out of driving it around on the street. Pulling the bars out of the car is way nicer. Even better than swinging them in and out.
