I sure bet it can out perform a stock 98 ECU though lol. I dont really plan on winning. Maybe win for the week and get a free shirt at best. However i dont see me walkign away with the MSD system . Plus it gave me a chance to post up some pictures i suppose

i think you can get a 99-2002 computer for $100. maybe some minor wiring changes to accommodate it

yeah they are not to expensive. I know that if i do go FI then i will do something other then a 98. But being nitrous at the moment and the computer not controlling it at all. I think the 98 will suffice. Besides, free EFI live tuning. Cant beat that :-)

I have been using Steve Fords for little changes and logging. I had Clint tune it originally though.

Well i made it to the track with this setup. I was more impressed with what the car ran NA then on the bottle. I thougth i had more nitrous then i did i the bottle. Turns out i got one pass in on the bottle before it was low. NA i went 7.48 @ 93 MPH witha 1.69 60ft. On the bottle i went 7.22 @ 100 MPH with a 1.89 60ft i believe. All in all i was happy with what it did that weekend.

The bottle Pass....

pretty good NA. you might need to let eddyb work with you to get your nitrous times down

I know that i could run a high six wtih the bottle. Jsut had a bad pass and the bottle was empty from the weekend before. But it is what it is. I couldnt have been happier with the NA pass. The quickest i went with the old white car and the 5.3 100 shot setup was 7.7. So 7.48 without the bottle i was stoked.
