So earlier this year Josh Silver had finished assembling and swapping my new motor in the car. Runs good, although I'm running out of injector (90%+ IDC) even with the Walbro pump. So I will be getting a 4" MAF/intake and bigger injectors in the near future. 6MT swap is in the plans as well.

Car made 259whp/257wtq on a Dyno Dynamics machine before a strap broke. AFR was still on the lean side (VQs prefer 12.50-12.80 AFR and right now I am hitting 13.3's on the top end) and the timing had not been fully dialed in yet. The e-Manage is causing problems with overriding the factory rev limit so I am looking at other tuning options.

The car is too low for that particular dyno. The accessory belt was rubbing on the straps the entire time. I won't be racing at the manual shootout, I haven't budgeted for slicks yet. lol

Fwd is a bit of a challange to get traction. Being as low as you are cannot help axles either.

Any traction is going to make those clicks go snap.
How well do maxima's keep their axles together? Is it pretty common to break them or are they pretty strong?

From what I've seen of max-effort drag racing setups (big clutch, slicks, traction bars) they hold power OK. There are cars (not mine) that have been 110+ or 120+ in the 1/4 mile with stock axles.

At my height they are weakened substantially due to the way they're angled.

I have noticed, if the car is set up well enough stock axles on most cars will hold up well. Fwd that is.

You have a unique car for sure.

you have adjustable suspension. Raise that thing for a day and bring it out to the track. That is... unless you're scared
