Weekly or Monthly meets?

Does anyone know of any weekly or monthly meets or events? Anything from a get together at a bar to a big car show that meets like once every month or every week even? I am new to the forum so Im just trying to find a way to get to know some of the people and see some cool builds that I haven't seen before.

meets are kind of inconsistent around here. just have to keep an eye out on here and on facebook. there will be a lot of us going to the iowa street car shootout to either watch or race on Oct 5 at cedar falls raceway (see the events section)
