Dodge Omni GLH turbo or GHLS

I saw a 86? Omni GLH turbo, or GLHS couldn't really see any Shelby stickers but it sounded good and spun a lot when he did a quick pull. It was on C ave in Cedar Rapids, looked like a younger guy with either his dad or an older guy. Just wondering if anybody knows who he is and the specs on it. There can't be too many of these cars left, I'd think that most of them met the crusher or fell apart.

Yeah I saw that thread a while back, this one was black and custom license plate, pretty much mint car (guess I should have been more descriptive before) and I do not believe it was the shelby version. It was the older body styling and the badges said glh turbo, so it was definitely the 85/86 glh turbo or the 86 shelby glhs. I thought it was a MK1 golf at first until I got closer.

There's one I've only seen sitting in a garage in the neighborhood off Lindale Dr. In Marion that looks pretty clean. Might have been the one you saw, given the area.

Sounds like it could be it, the one I saw was obviously garage kept. I'll keep an eye out next time I go back in that neighborhood.
