Been a while since iv been on here but got this back in december 08 trailblzer ss awd. I bought it all stock but since then iv added some mods ran 13.9 at cfr all stock back in may. This is my dd as well

Since then iv added
ported throttle body
100 shot nitrous
res delete
Trans cooler
Ls1 e fans
Pcm4less intake and tune

more mods soon to come but should run pretty good the pics are sides ways if ryan you can fix them that would be great iv tryed but my phone being a pos..

Yeah im still on stock trans I know there weak like ls1 trans but seen couple tbs not have any issues on couple nitrous runs but Im upgrade to rpm trans before winter and get a stall as well and run 150 shot next year. Id meet up sometime track events or car shows maybe iaf race etc.

I guess running it on the 17" wheels on the ls models will improve 60ft a lot, and you could put some sticky tires on those too. the 20's are just to big and heavy. How was your 60' with it all stock? Mine feels like a dog out of the hole.

Yeah running a smaller wheel helps these pigs out.

Ill look at my time slips when I get home I believe it was 2.0-2.2 60ft have 4 passes from that nite I ran 13.9 I was spinning all 4 wheels my tires were kinda worn out need replaced but it was very cool that night maybe that had something to do with why I got those et times. I couldn't believe that I was spinning for like sec or two but pulled good outta the whole and lauched from idle.

Now with mods its a whole different truck pulls n runs way better n/a I haven't sprayed it yet just got it hooked up a week ago

Brad, 01teggy on here, had one. Such a sweet ride, honestly one of my favorite vehicles I've driven.
He let me run it at Cordova since I had no car after he pulled his car there on it. Ran 14.5 beating a stock mustang GT that was trash talking his integra with it and we told him he could race the DD before he got to race the integra haha.
Lot of fun for a big SUV, I'd love to copy your mod list if I ever decide to buy one.

Your truck looks great! I don't see many of the red ones around.

I really want to sell my 06 V8 TB and pick up the SS. If the mileage is going to be mediocre I might as well... It would be a non-issue, but they didn't put the cylinder deactivation on the regular V8 models.

FYI my Grand Prix GXP with cylinder deactivation got crap mileage and guys that had it tuned out were reporting 4-5 MPG better highway and on the trucks is doesn't seem to help really at all.

Thats not bad at all, if I decide to take mine to the track I want a few mods done, I'd like to see 100+ trap speeds and I'd be happy.

torque management in stock tune isn't helping you.. GM trying to protect the trans in that 5000# pig!
