yeah yeah I know I know, no surprise I'm selling something!
Anyways figured I'd throw this up here.
I have it listed a fair amount higher on CL, but price for my friends and anyone here is my lowest of $6600. I have more into it in the short time I've owned it.
Newer plugs/filter - fresh oil change with mobil racing 4T synthetic motorcycle oil (all the clutch/transmission additives).
Also stock tires were junk when I got it so I put on brand new Michelin Pilot Power CT2's. They're still in like new condition. Also just cleaned and lubed the chain.
Bike only has 3xxx miles on it, going up since I do ride it constantly. I think I'm at like 3250 right now. Title is clean.
It has never been wrecked or dropped. The only blemish I know of on it is a small mark on one of the exhaust cans, previous owner said he hit it with his helmet on accident.
I also put on a CF Progrip tank pad. It also has the factory Ohlins steering stabilizer which works wonders for bumps/crappy roads. Also has a nicely cut fender eliminator that has the ZX-10R lettering cut into it that looks great. Mechanically though it's all stock.
If you want a wild bike, this is it - it is ready to ride for a long time. I sat on a lot of liter bikes before I got this one, I'm super comfortable on it at 5' 9" and 228lbs. I rode it between Cedar Falls and Burlington twice without any issues. Gets fairly good mileage too, my best was on my last trip back to Burlington from Cedar Falls I squeezed out 49mpg out of her. Usually in town gets around 35-40.
I did take it to cordova once on grudge day just to see how I'd do, was babying the launch since I didn't feel like slipping the clutch much and I also wasn't really doing burnouts since I dont feel like replacing my new rear tire and ran 11.1@133mph. Would easily run 10's going all out with it, and I'm a big guy too.
Anyway I'm not desperate to sell or anything, but with how I like to change it up - I'm kind of getting out of the whole crotch rocket thing and would like to get a sport tourer which was kind of my plan last time but I ended up falling in love with this thing. Either way, I really don't need something this fast either. But if no one bites I'll just keep it, no big deal.
So $6600 rock firm or I'll hold onto it. Let me know if you're interested.
