View Full Version : Got a new race car. 4 cylinder content

Got bored without racing much in the summer and figured I might as well go pick up a Legends Car.
1300lb race ready with a 1250cc yamaha motorcycle engine, coilovers on all 4 corners, 3 link rear, rack and pinion with upper/lower control arm front suspension.

Should be a good time! The wifey wants to try her hand at racing something so Im going to be teaching her to drive it eventually. Race on asphalt at hawkeye downs and dirt out at tipton.

Oh yeah and ALL those stickers will be removed so I will be looking for some sponsors to put on it if any of you guys are interested in some cheap advertisement..

Mike I should be ready for it, I tore the engine down for some upgrades and kind of stuck on which direction I really want to go with it. Big issue being the cage, the car is capable of times much faster than it certifies for. My thoughts about that are better left for a different thread.

Oh yeah they're cool little cars, when you start racing in circles power really doesnt mean that much.. I havent been around the track with it yet but I would almost guarantee its way over powered for Hawkeye Downs, much like the Modified was.
