View Full Version : Levelling kit or stock rake?

Can't decide if I want to put a leveling kit on my truck. It would bring the front up about 2 inches. It would eliminate the stock rake, look bigger, and mostly help clear my 285s more which rub some when turning.

I just can't decide which way to go with it. Leaving the rake and it being a shortbox ext cab kind of look racer/pullerish, where the leveling kit is more big truck off road look. The current setup is with H2 wheels, rake, clear lens clearance lights, clear lens headlights (with black casings still, I'm not a ricer),debadged except duramax badges (may do newer style badges). Grill will be all black eventually minus the gold bowtie. Maybe a single black stack someday if I leave it raked.

IDK if you can tell the wheel clearance difference in these pics

I would do it for sure if you have rubbing already. I think all trucks look better when they sit level front to back.
