Has anyone heard about this? I was browsing the local porsche site and it mentioned cars and coffee every month on their calendar, but I haven't been to any since I left Minneapolis, I had no idea it existed in Des Moines.

It's at Mimi's Cafe near the Jordan Creek Mall from 8-10am. Anyone interested in going?

I'd entertain going providing my cars on the road and it should be. Meet up and wash the cars ahead of time? I'm sure I could bring a few others.

It appears to be the 2nd Saturday of every month from 8-10am. I'm going to head there from 8-9am before the Marshalltown autox next Saturday.

Yeah, I didn't get home until after 1 from work, so it was a bit early for me to kick the covers off.

The only reason I got up was because of racing haha, but hopefully we can get a bigger turnout next time on June 8th.
I'm still not sure if this is a porsche-only event, but every cars and coffee I've been to has been all makes and models. I don't have one and wouldn't mind seeing some other cars.

I got best time of the day with a 1:22.06 I think, not superb but I'm happy with it considering it was my first day out with the car and only 50*. I have a few things to learn about the car, like not forgetting to disable traction control and needing to adjust my swaybar because it was pushing through turns. Bust mostly I just need seat time and experience.
