Ford 8.8 questions

Looking for a 8.8 for 98 mustang and seen but never done the explorer 8.8 swap. Wondering if anyone else has used one as a starting point.

i did, but i just swapped it into my leafspring'ed truck. i'm going to narrow mine the cheap way. in case you need to, get a single housing end and another driverside axle. cut the pass side to the same length as the driverside(roughly 3" shorter) and well the new housing end on. it'll also center the pinion. as far as suspension mounts, you're on your own there.
