So where are all the dyno shops at anymore around Des Moines? Obviously Karl's has the AWD Superflow and Lunds has a Superflow also, but is there anymore shops around that have dyno services? I need to do some dyno tuning on the Spec Miata and would rather use a Dynojet so I can compare our results with what everyone else is getting.
I know that every dyno will read differently even if they are both dynojets. Normally I'd just calculate for the difference (10-15%) but when we are dealing with tenths of hp numbers, I'd really prefer to stick with the data that is already known to be consistent between cars.

RPMSpeed in Norwalk has a dynojet. They would most likely be your best bet

This thread kind of gives me an idea, it'd be nice to have a sticky somewhere on here with a list of all known dynos/'performance' shops in Iowa since we see this kind of thread from time to time and we're sometimes finding there are places we didn't know about before.

You ever been to RPMSpeed Phish? Just want to know if it's a nicer looking place and if they take care of their machine.
It would be nice to put together an Iowa dyno shop list. Seems like there are always ones popping up or going away.

Yeah i have been there plenty of times. Clint used to run the dyno there. Matt was tuned on that dyno a little while back, jordan has been on it, and I put the RX7 on it the day i bought it. Its a clean place. I woudlnt have an issue with going back there. Not sure who is running the dyno now though but its a decent setup to just grab some numbers.

They have a working a/f and rpm pickup?
Does anyone have experience with the accuracy of the Superflow conversion to Dynojet#'s?

I know all the guys at the ws6store and they have working a/f and rpm pickups. The dyno is right in line with other dynojets.

Perfect. It's a 5 minute drive to there so that's a plus. You remember what they charged per hour Phish?

I don't believe that includes the a/r wide band hookup. I remember clint saying something like that when we were there.

WS6store/RPM Speed is where you want to go. Josh runs the dyno out there and is a good guy. Shop is clean and well taken care of.
